Avatar: The Show You Need To Watch

Avatar: The Last Airbender is an animated cartoon that after watching it once, will have people wanting to watch it over, and over, and over, and over. It was my favorite show growing up, and I still find myself going to rewatch the show again. In my opinion, this show is one of the best shows ever to air on television.

The main characters are Avatar Aang, Katara, Sokka, Toph Beifong, Prince Zuko, General Iroh. Toph is not introduced until Season 2, but she is my favorite character. She is sarcastic and always has witty comebacks, which makes her a great character.

The show has three seasons. Every season is a different “book”. Each book represents what element the Avatar is trying to learn. There are four elements: water, earth, fire, and air. The Avatar is the only person who can master all four elements.

The show is one of the best shows ever created because it is funny throughout the whole series. From start to finish the show is full of funny scenes, puns, and has situations that turn into funny events. The creators of the show did a great job of writing the script for each episode because every episode is full of enjoyable funny moments. The final episode in the series even ends with everyone making jokes about Sokka’s drawing.

Like I mentioned before, most people in the show have bending abilities. The bending abilities are what make the show interesting. The fight scenes are always awesome with water, fire air, and earth flying around. Some benders have even more special powers. Very few waterbenders have the ability to blood bend. Bloodbending is just what it sounds like, by the way. Some firebenders are able to create lighting, but it can be very catastrophic if not done correctly. Only one earth bender, Toph, was able to metal bend, which again, is just what it sounds like. Airbenders are able to sand bend by using their air bending to move the sand, so it pretty much just air bending with sand thrown in it.

Another thing that keeps the show going strong through all three seasons is that every season is working towards the final battle. Aang is trying to master all four elements so he can defeat Firelord Ozia. Ozia wants the Fire Nation to rule the world, and he is the strongest person, too. The only way he can be beaten is by the Avatar using all four elements to stop him. Each season is all about Aang learning the elements, so he can fight Ozia.

After watching this show and you are craving more Avatar, you could always watch The Legend Of Korra. The Legend Of Korra is the story of the Avatar after Aang. Many of the characters from Avatar: The Last Airbender make a reappearance in this show. This show is also great, just like the original. Whatever you decide to watch after Avatar: The Last Airbender, please, for God’s sake, do NOT watch Avatar: The Last Airbender The Movie. That movie is the worst movie I have ever seen.

If you are into animated cartoons that are funny, then you would like Avatar: The Last Airbender. It is definitely a series you will not regret watching.
