On August 31, 2021, Canton Tiger junior high football team traveled to Okeene to play their first game of the season. 

“I felt really good about the game last night, and I thought we were going to win, but a major team player got hurt during the game,” William Postelwait, 8th grader, said. 

During the first quarter, neither team scored any points. Second-quarter came around and Okeene had scored a total of 14 points and Canton scored 8. At the end of the third quarter, the score was 36-8. The final score was Okeene 42-Canton 16.
