He’s NOT All That

Over the weekend, I got bored and thought why not make myself feel better by watching a completely unrealistic teen movie with a famous Tik Toker.

I decided to give He’s All That a chance. The movie was maybe a 5/10. I might have liked it better if it was not Addison Ray playing the main character. Just because a person makes Tik Toks doesn’t mean he/she can act. Sure the movie had some good moments although most of it was unrealistic. For starters, the guy that Padgett Sawer (Addison Ray) was fixing up wasn’t even ugly. All he needed was to shave and a haircut. The high school’s students look like they are 23 years old, and sophomores look like 13-year-olds with a lot of makeup.

I think they did a good job with the cast other than Addison Ray, as she was just so hard to watch. The whole time I felt like I was watching a very long Tik Tok of hers. Kourtney Kardashian was also in it. Do I need to say more?

In this movie, these high schoolers have these huge parties all the time in their huge mansions. The school Padgett goes to is huge, with over 1000 people, and she is the only one running for prom queen. Sorry, but that is one of the most unbelievable things ever. Padgett is the “hottest” girl in school and only has 2 friends. Predictably, one of them isn’t a real friend.

The only scene I liked was the prom, and a person would have to watch it. Would it be a movie if Addison Ray wasn’t singing? Stick to Tik Tok, please. Maybe I do not like it because I feel like the role of Padgett could have been played better. I am deeply concerned for anyone who watched He’s All That and enjoyed it.
