Pink Out Pallets are for a Good Cause

This week at Canton High School the classes are having a pallet project contest.

Each class will make a silent auction item from wood pallets for the pink out game this Friday. The money raised from the auction will be donated to the Stephenson Cancer Center in Oklahoma City.

The class that raises the most money wins the contest.

The Student Council gave each class a pallet. If classes needed more to make their projects, many stores in town have given permission to go get as many as needed.

If a class makes more than one item, the project that makes the most money will be entered in the contest.

Students can work on their projects any time this week, but they must be done by Friday, October 1st. The pallet projects must be at the football field by 6:30.

The 7th graders are making a barn quilt.

The 8th graders are making a shelf.

The freshmen are making Christmas trees.

The sophomores are painting a picture on their pallet.

The juniors are making a bench with cup holders.

The seniors are making a bar stand from their pallets.
