For three years in a row, 2018, 2019, and now 2021, Canton FFA has taken home the Tulsa Crops Sweepstakes trophy. This year Canton took 70-grain boxes and 64 grass bundles to Tulsa for the chance to win big, and in total, Canton had over 78 exhibitors and over 150 entries. 

Grain boxes and grass bundles aren’t the only things that were taken to the Tulsa State Fair. Canton also took two plant life cycle drawings, eight history of agronomy posters, one agronomic crop importance display, five bales of legume hay, and three bales of non-legume hay.

Kylie Carrasco won Grand Champion with her grain threshing history poster, and Noah Ross won Reserve Champion with his grain threshing history poster. Mckayla Howerton won second place, and Emma Hoffman won fourth place, and Marci Kopf won fifth place with their grain threshing posters as well. Blair Dowell won third place with her crop importance display about the impact of GMOs. Hopelin Hood won seventh with her floral wreath, and Jacqyln Grigsby won eighth with her floral arrangement. 

Amanda Schoonmaker won champion with her tame pasture grass and legume display. Hudson Scott won champion with his bundle of alfalfa, and Dean Hunt won reserve champion with his alfalfa bundle. Vance Ross won first place with both his grain box of wheat and his bundle of tame forage grass. Hudson Scott won first place with his soybean bundle, and Ariel Green won second place with her switchgrass bundle, and second place again with her grain box of wheat. Maggie Clark won second place with both her purple top grass bundles. Dean Hunt won second place with his bundle of tame forage grass, Will McIntosh won second place with his short fine-stemmed tame forage bundle, and Peyton Castillo won second place with his blue grama bundle. 

David Evans won third place with both his purple top grass bundle and his bundle of side oats grama. Johnie Burton won third place with a grain box of wheat, Aubrey Cheney won third place with her grain box of corn, and Marci Kopf won third place with her bundle of Indian grass. William Postlewait won fourth place with his purple top grass bundle, and Nick Sullins won fourth place with his little bluestem grass bundle. Jarrett Sinclair won fourth place with his grain box of wheat and fifth place with his blue grama bundle. Hayden Thompson won fifth place with his sand love grass bundle, and Joseph Sutton and Devon Reilly both won fifth place with their grain boxes of wheat.
