Thursday, October 21, 2021, the art students traveled to Plaza and Paseo Arts District in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

“I had an amazing time and all the murals were so pretty,” Sienna Bates, junior, said.

They looked at many different murals, and they also walked around some of the gift shops. Some students even got to paint little canvases.

“I learned that the Plaza Walls Project is organized by the Oklahoma Mural Syndicate. They also have some other places such as The Milk Crate Jam, Inaugural, Sunny Dayz Mural Festival, Britton District in Oklahoma City, El Reno, and the Route 66 Mural Festival in Miami, Oklahoma. The USA today named OKC as the best city for public art in the country,” Mrs. Bromlow, art teacher, said.

Many students had a good time and want to go again in the future.
