On Thursday, October 28, Canton FCCLA members traveled to Ringwood for its district one Meeting. At the meeting, they heard from guest speaker Dustin Gaylon. Along with playing many games and having fun activities like limbo, lip sync contest, and scavenger hunts.

“My favorite part of the meeting was watching everyone fail at limbo,” Jake Foster, freshman FCCLA member, said. 

Canton FCCLA won the scavenger hunt by finding: keys, hand sanitizer, kleenex, a band-aid, water, headphones/air pods, deodorant, tweezers, a hairband, nail clippers, and cologne/perfume. Canton FCCLA  was awarded a prize bag for being the first school to find all objects.

“My favorite part of the FCCLA North 1 District Meeting was whenever I got to go up there and get the prize after winning the scavenger hunt,” Kalli Lawrence, FCCLA member, said.
