Lady Tigers Play in First Game at Okeene
The high school Lady Tigers went to Okeene for their first game on November 30, 2021.
To start off the game, Imiyah Littlejohn drove down the court to shoot a lay-up. Then the Lady Whippets were fouled and made one of the two shots. As the first quarter progressed Hopelin Hood made a lay-up for two points. The Lady Whippets continued to gain points, ending the first quarter 18-4 with Okeene ahead.
Starting off the second quarter, Hoplin scored two points for the lady tiger. The Lady Whippets scored three points. As the quarter progressed Paige Robison scored two points. The Lady Tigers and Lady Whippets both gained points and at the end of the half, the score was 28-15 with the Lady Whippets ahead.
Coming out of half-time, the Lady Tigers were on fire Imiyah Littlejohn scoring two points, and then to follow it up Robison and Hood scored a combined six points. The Lady Whippets were fouled and went to the line to shoot free throws and made both shots. Littlejohn then scored a three and made a lay-up that ended the third quarter 33-28, Lady Whippets still ahead.
In the fourth quarter, Aubrey Chenney came out and made two points. Littlejohn followed that up with shooting and scoring two threes. The Lady Whippets followed up by shooting multiple free throws and making them and a few other shots. The game ended 51-48 with the Lady Whippets winning.
