Meet the Esports Team: Part One
This year there are 32 students who are part of the esports team. This does not include the esports class. It just includes all of the students who are competing in competitions this year.
Preston Foster is an 8th grader who plays Splatoon. This is his first year being part of the esports team.
“The best part of being on the esports team is that the games are fun,” Preston Foster, 8th grader, said.
Bridger Hursh is an 8th grader who plays Splatoon. This is his first year being part of the esports team.
“It’s fun,” Bridger Hursh, 8th grader, said.
Luke Foster is a senior who plays Splatoon and Smash Brothers. This is his second year of being on the esports team.
“It gives me a competitive place to test my skill set and improve at my games,” Luke Foster, senior, said.
Hannah Evans is a senior who plays Splatoon and Smash Brothers. This is her first year of being on the esports team.
“I get to play games I enjoy while improving and competing in matches,” Hannah Evans, senior, said.
Keelynn Schaumberg is a freshman who plays Overwatch. This is her first year of being part of the esports team.
“I get to practice skills and learn new things about the game,” Keelynn Schaumberg, freshman, said.
Bree is a sophomore and this will be her second year in newspaper. Bree is excited to record podcasts.
