Yesterday afternoon, the cross country team loaded the bus to head to Hinton. The weather was sticky and humid. The fifth and sixth-grade girls finished their season and placed second as a team. The top finisher was Imiyah Littlejohn placed first, and Alexus Meat placed second.

Ariel Green finished her season placing 33rd in the middle school division.

Every high school girl earned a medal at Hinton. LaShayla Green placed 6th, Arianna Green placed 8th, Taylor Dowell placed 14th, Roxey Linder placed 19th, and Hanna Noble placed 20th. The girls placed second as a team.

Shy Cauble competed in the high school boys race and finished strong for the last medal being handed out winning the 25th place medal.

The cross country team will compete at Regionals Saturday, October 14th.
