Tigers Victorious Over Whippets
Friday, August 27, the Tigers traveled to Okeene to play their first game of the season.
Okeene kicked off to start the game, and Luke Swartwood caught the kick and made a touchdown. Okeene was able to make one touchdown during the first quarter, whereas the Tigers made two.
During the second quarter, the Tigers were able to make five more touchdowns and kept Okeene’s offense from scoring.
With six minutes left in the last quarter, the Tigers scored one more touchdown, ending the game. The final score of the game was Canton 54 and Okeene 6.
The Tigers play again this Thursday, September 2, here at Canton, against Geary.
