Chantel Bryant was born in Enid, Oklahoma, and comes from Fairveiw where she did schooling through Epic Charter School, she moved here because she didn’t like Fairview. 

She is very excited about meeting the new students and attending her new classes this year.

“I’m excited to make new friends and do well on my school work,” Bryant, eighth-grader, said. 

Bryant didn’t really like Epic because it was boring and she didn’t get to socialize much. 

“It was really boring, I didn’t socialize at all, because we didn’t talk to each other and the work was really unorganized, I was the only student in my class,” Bryant said.

Settling in has been pretty easy so far for Bryant, she’s even made a few friends already and even decided to try FCCLA!

¨Settling in has been good for me, I’ve already got a couple friends and the work I already know how to do,” Bryant said.

One of the things she enjoys the most about Canton is how small Canton is and how everyone treats each other like family.
