FCCLA to Compete at Cheese Festival
Friday October 8th, FCCLA students will travel to Watonga to enter in the annual Watonga Cheese Festival. Every dish that is entered must have at least 3 ounces of cheese or one cup. The students started working on their recipe cards this Monday.
Devon Reilly is making cream cheese lemon bars. Madison Rauh is going to make a bacon ranch cheese ball. Kalli Lawrence plans on making broccoli rice casserole. Marci Rhodes is making rotel cheese dip. Lea Vowell is going to make orange creamsicle salad. Kylie Carrasco is going to make a corn casserole. Hanna Sullins is making beef and cheese enchiladas.
Other students plan to go, but haven’t decided on what they are making.
Lea is a senior and this will be her fourth year in newspaper. Lea is excited and ready to make video stories. Lea decided to be in newspaper because she...
