This is a book told from Achilles’ love interest Patrocula’s perspective. Achilles, son of Thetis, is beautiful, charming, strong, and completely irresistible. Patroclus is a prince who is awkward, kind, thoughtful, and caring. He is exiled from his home for committing a violent act. Because of this, Achilles and Patroclus meet and are instantly drawn to each other. They have an irresistible bond, but their love for each other is challenged by so many things, one being the Trojan war. Their love story is beautiful and heartbreaking. The Greek tragedy will definitely leave a lot of people crying. 

  • Five Feet Apart 

Five Feet Apart is a book about seventeen-year-old Stella Grant who has Cystic Fibrosis. She has a lot of self-control and likes to follow her regimens. She meets Will Newman,  who also has Cystic Fibrosis, at the hospital. He doesn’t like to follow his regimens or do his treatments, which drives Stella crazy. Will just wants to live his life and see the world outside of the hospital. Stella and Will must stay within 6 feet away from each other in order to not catch each other germs which could result in B Cepacia, possibly taking their lives. This is challenged when Will and Stella start to fall for each other. Taking back one foot of distance from everything CF has taken away from them. Will their love be worth it in the end to risk their own lives so much?

This book is about a girl named August Landrey who meets Jane on the subway and will continue to see her on the subway frequently. Jane is very mysterious to August and she knows that there’s more to her than we think. This book is definitely a crazy read with different theories about Jane being a ghost or possibly being stuck in time. Jane can not physically get off the subway and does not remember the last time she did or remember a lot of her life. The more August tries to figure out Jane, the more they start to fall for each other. When we figure out what’s wrong with Jane, her life is put at risk, making it possible that she could die. It is a crazy, scary, wonderful love story with a happy ending.

A lot of people who are big fans of the Twilight saga will love this book.
