Thursday March 24, Cage Taylor won first place in Chemistry Class three out of 1,800 people from 53 different schools at the Annual Southwestern Interscholastic Meet (SWIM) at Southwestern Oklahoma State University.  This is a competition where students show off their talents and compete against each other in academic subjects by taking a subject area tests. He finished the test with a total of 61 points.

“After I had learned about what I had placed in the SWIM Meet I felt like I was dreaming, especially since I had learned about how I had done when they did the announcement about it,” Cage Taylor, senior, said.
