On January 9, the Lady Tigers played the Mooreland Bearcats. At the beginning of the game, the Lady Bearcats won the jump with the Lady Tigers starting on defense. The Lady Bearcats lost control of the ball, and the ball rolled out of bounds. The Lady Tigers began to pass the ball around getting Haylee Nusz open for the first three of the game. The score at the end of the first quarter was Canton 13 and Mooreland 4.

In the second quarter, the Lady Tigers started on offense. The Lady Tigers passed the ball around, making the Lady Bearcats work on defense. Both teams turned over the ball several times in the second quarter. The score at halftime was Canton 17 and Mooreland 13.

After halftime, the Lady Tigers started on defense. The Bearcats drove to the basket but, missed their layup. The Lady Tigers got the rebound and drove to the basket, and were fouled. The score at the end of the third quarter Canton 20 and Mooreland 21.

In the final quarter, the Lady Tigers started off on offense. Both teams were in foul trouble. Near the middle of the quarter, Lady Tiger 10, Arianna Green, fouled out. The ball game was close throughout the whole quarter. With a minute left in the game, Mooreland scored a three and got fouled on the shot, making the score close at the end of the game. The final score was Canton 33 and Mooreland 31.
