On January 10th, the Canton basketball teams traveled to Medford for the Medford tournament. Starting off the game, Jenny Delgado won the jump. Roxey Linder missed a three and Haylee Nusz got the rebound. Hopelin Hood scored the first three of the game. The score at the end of the first quarter was Canton 14 and DCLA 3.

In the second quarter, Canton started off on offense. DCLA made the two free throws at the first of the second quarter. Both teams fouling giving allowed both teams an advantage to hit free throws. The score at the end of the second quarter was Canton 33 and DCLA 8.

In the third quarter, DCLA started off on offense, but lost control of the ball, resulting in Hopelin Hood going to score a layup. DCLA then lost control of the ball again, with Arianna Green laying it up for the Tigers. The score at the end of the third quarter was Canton 48 and DCLA 11.

In the fourth quarter, DCLA started off on offense. DCLA missed a jump shot, and Laney Russell got the rebound. Sam McEachern scored a jump shot towards the end of the fourth quarter. The final score was Canton 57 and DCLA 19. The Lady Tigers will be playing Medford at 3:30 on January 11, 2019.
