On Friday, December 6th, the Lady Tigers played their first home game against Ringwood. This game was also homecoming. The king and queen this year were Josh Edwards and Samantha McEachern.
At the beginning of the first quarter, the Lady Red Devils got the jump and turned it over. Hopelin Hood scored the first points of the game, making a three. The Lady Red Devils hit a few jump shots, allowing them to keep up with the Lady Tigers.
In the second quarter, Paige Robison got fouled on a rebound, making both of her free throws. During a fast break, Hood was fouled,and made only one free throw.The score at the end of the first half was Lady Tigers 17 and Lady Devils 11.
The Lady Red Devils got the ball going into the second half, they made a three pointer. In the Lady Tigers next possession, Hood scored a three. In a fast break, Hood kicked the ball to Arianna Green who was fouled on her shot, making both of her free throws. Green hit a layup at the end of the quarter making the score Lady Tigers 26 and Lady Devils 16.
The Lady Tigers got the ball into the fourth quarter and Hood scored a three. In a fast break, Green scored a layup. Dowell was fouled on a rebound and made one out of two free throws.
The score at the end of the game was Lady Tigers 35 and Lady Devils 30.
