Tigers Fall to Waurika
On Friday, October 2, the Tigers traveled three hours to Waurika to play their fifth game of the season.
The Tigers kicked off the ball to start the game. Waurika was able to drive the ball down the field for a touchdown early in the quarter. The Tigers were not able to make anything work for them on their offensive drive. Waurika was able to turn the stop into a touchdown.
During the second quarter, the Tigers were unable to keep Waurika from scoring. Waurika scored four more times during the quarter. The Tigers came close to scoring but ran out of time.
The score at the end of the game was Canton 0 and Waurika 46. The Tigers travel to Seiling this week to take on their long time rivals.
