CHS art students give their opinions on what they are doing in art. Right now the art classes are making their own types of memorials. Students’ views of the assignment are as varied as the students themselves.

“I like what we are doing but it is sad,” Marci Rhodes, senior, said.

Some of the CHS art students felt like it was boring while other CHS art students got emotional while making their own type of memorials.

“I just did the assignment as the class went by,” Alexus Meat, freshman, said. 

“I was alright with it but it was really hard to find an idea because everyone was doing something similar to 9/11 and I did not want to do what everyone else was doing because it was like it was all the same,” Aaliyah Hough, freshman, said.
