My Self-Help Guide

My+Self-Help+Guide

There are many methods to keep up with mental and physical health. Everyone has their own way of taking care of themselves, and I’m going to walk through mine.

Starting the day off, I give myself about thirty minutes to wake up and get out of bed in the mornings, so that I can wake up calmly and not have to jump out of bed and rush around. Then I make my bed and turn on some music or a podcast to have something in the background. While listening to that, I make myself some hot tea with honey because it makes me feel warm and cozy on the inside. I love reading and it really does calm and relax me, so as I’m drinking my tea I’ll also read a book to destress.

Throughout the day I also drink a lot of water, and I mean a lot. Drinking lots of water is one of the easiest steps in feeling better and becoming healthier. I try to eat healthier food to keep my body going and keep my energy up. I take vitamins too and they help a lot with my overall mood, health, and the way my body feels.

I tend to forget about cleaning up my room, but I often get a random burst of motivation to completely reorganize my room. I listen to music or a podcast while I’m doing that too. I love the feeling after cleaning up my room because it just feels new and fresh. It makes my room feel a lot more spacious. I normally end my day by reading more of a book or watching a show.

These are the things I do to help me feel better and get better. Health is very important whether it is mental or physical. Self-care is the best care.
