The time is almost upon us for the release of the two biggest gaming consoles of the 2000s. Many people have already made their decision as to which console they want, but for those who haven’t, there are aspects of each that could help make the decision between the PS5 and the Xbox Series X.

Both consoles will be able to have up to 8k resolutions, high frame rates, ultra fast SSDs, and powerful processors.

The PS5 will launch on November 13 at 500 dollars, while the PS5 Digital Edition will launch on the same day at 400 dollars. The Xbox Series X will launch on November 10 at 500 dollars, while the Xbox Series S will launch on the same day at 300 dollars.

The PS5 will have games such as Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, God of War: Ragnarok, Horizon Forbidden West, Gran Turismo 7, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, Demon’s Souls, Returnal, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, Astro’s Playroom, Destruction AllStars, Final Fantasy XVI, Deathloop, Ghostwire: Tokyo, and Godfall. All of those games will only be exclusively on the PS5, meaning that gamers can only play these games on the PS5.

The Xbox Series X will have games such as Fable, State of Decay 3, Forza Motorsport, Everwild, Avowed, As Dusk Falls, Psychonauts 2, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, Scorn, all of these games are exclusively on the Xbox Series X

PS5 will be able to play most PS4 games on the PS5. The Xbox Series X will be able to play most Xbox One games, a selection of Xbox 360 games and original Xbox games.

The bottom line is if you only play online games with your friends, then get the Xbox Series X, if you like really good games with a good story then get the PS5. Neither of these should matter though, get whichever one your friends are getting. The console war is temporary, but the boys are forever.
