Quarantine is about Distance Learning and Chocolate Cake

I was in the middle of my fourth hour when I was pulled out of class by the principal. I was told that my parents took a COVID test and were waiting on the results. My parents wanted to get my sister and I to get tested. A few days later the tests came back positive for my parents and sister. We had to quarantine for two weeks.

I tested negative, so my parents and I had to quarantine at different houses.  I stayed with my grandparents. While I was there I did virtual learning and in between classes, I would make myself something to eat. I got tired of not having anything sweet,  so I took the liberty of texting my aunt for her homemade German chocolate cake recipe.

I spent time during lunch and after my classes making the cake and its icing. During my whole two weeks of quarantine, I made two cakes and ate both of them. I was going to make another one, but my quarantine was up and I had to go back to school.

I have never been more disappointed to have to leave quarantine because I wanted to make more cakes.
