Grass Bundle Competition

Grass isn’t only good for mowing. Here at Canton High School in the ag classes, the eighth through twelfth ag classes are working on making grass bundles for competition. Mr. Mitchell, the ag teacher, is one of the state’s gurus of the crops and grass competitions.

There are many different kinds of grass bundles being made such as, purple top, big bluestem, and little bluestem.

Freshman Seth Bromlow thinks doing grass bundles is fun. He says, “It’s important to learn the different types of native grasses.”
