The Grinch

The Grinch is about the Grinch who lives alone with his dog Max. They live inside a cave on Mount Crumpit. He hates Christmas time when the people in Whoville celebrate. The Grinch comes up with a plan to pretend to be Santa Claus and steal Christmas so he can go back to living in peace and quiet.

“I really like how The Grinch is different from any other Christmas movie,” Brooklyn Green, 8th grader, said.

Home Alone

Home Alone is about a boy named Kevin McCallister who is accidentally left by his family when they were heading to the airport. When Kevin woke up to the empty house he assumed that his wish came true, which was to have no family. He is excited at first until he realizes that two burglars were planning to rob the McCallister residence. He then was left to protect their home by himself.

“I like Home Alone because of all of the pranks that are in it,” Tristyn Schaumberg, 7th grader said.

The Polar Express

The Polar Express is about a boy who stays up waiting for Santa Claus, but instead hears a train. He runs out and is greeted by a conductor who invites him onto the train. He goes on a remarkable journey to the North Pole with other kids that were in their pajamas. There he received a gift that only some people get.

The Polar Express is not like any other Christmas movie, because Tom Hanks was like every character,” Luke Foster, senior, said.
