In August of 2022, the Northwest Technology Center brought Cosmetology classes to its campus. The class prepares students and adults to get a cosmetology license. 

It will teach the skills to become a cosmetologist licensed by the Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology and Barbering. The class will help students learn how to cut and style hair, color hair and do perms, along with facials, manicures, and pedicures.

They also do lessons about the diseases that come along with working in cosmetology.  High school students will need a total of 1500 hours to pass the class. The class’s schedule is 8:20 – 11:20 am or 12:20 – 3:20 pm.
