Purple Jerd Herd

Tuesday, the newspaper and yearbook classes got their new  2017 journalism T-shirts. On the front of their shirts are a camera and the word “Jerd” on it. “Jerd” stands for journalism nerd. If the kid is in newspaper or yearbook, they are known as a Jerd. On the back of the shirts, there is a list of what it is like to be a Jerd. The main color of the shirts is purple.

Number one on the list said, “You know Mr. Mesis’s middles name…. (its Eric).” If you know Mr. Mesis you know that he is a very confidential person and no one knew his middle name until Cody Conrady, a fellow Jerd, decided to be a total stalker and look him up on the internet.

All of the Jerd members are happy that they got their shirts. Wednesday everyone wore their new shirt, including Mr. Mesis, an honorary Jerd.
