Gone Glitter
After working on banners or other crafts, teachers and janitors have a hard time getting the glitter off of everything, so here are a few ways to help get glitter out.
Some people prefer to not be covered in glitter. Using a lint roller will “roll the glitter right off. Also, wrapping tape around a hand sticky side out serves as a great makeshift lint roller.
Glitter can easily get stuck in hair, so if washing it does not get it out, get paper towels and hairspray. Spray the hairspray on the paper towel and pat the hair with it and the glitter should come out.
That pesky glitter not only adheres to humans, however. Carpets and other surfaces serve as excellent “glitter magnets.” Vacuuming does not always work to get glitter out of the carpet. If it does not, wet a paper towel and dab the carpet.
To get glitter off of hard floors and counters, get a sponge and a bowl of water, and wipe the glitter with the wet sponge. Repeat until all of the glitters is gone.
Hopefully, these tips will help eradicate unwanted sparkles from both people and property.
