On Monday, October 16, the STUCO members of Canton High School traveled to Woodward to the Annual District Convention.

The Canton STUCO chapter was notified they would receive “Gold Chapter”. They won this award by gaining at least 230 points. They received points by participating in and hosting events from June 1st to May 30th. Some events that Canton STUCO hosted were the Halloween Dance, Orange Peel, and a blood drive. They also sent some kids to leadership conferences.

The Canton STUCO chapter will be awarded Gold Chapter Award of Excellence at the OASC Annual Convention. It is rare for a school the size of Canton to receive the Golden Chapter Award.
