Raising Money for Ag

The Canton Ag Boosters held a tailgate dinner at the senior night football game on November 2. They served the German sausage with hotdog buns and chili. The money raised from the tailgate will go toward helping buy feed or even animals. The boosters raised $252 during the tailgate.

On November 11 the Canton FFA put on a labor auction selling each member of the FFA to work for eight hours for their buyer. They also auctioned cakes and pies. At the auction, meals were provided which included pork loin, German sausage, and pork roast.

“The Labor auction is a good way for kids to gain a better work ethic,” Seth Bromlow, high seller, said.

The labor auction raised $9500 which will be used for everything ag-related.
