Science with Slime

On January 19, the freshmen classes were making something in Mrs. Dowell’s class. The something they were making was slime. The reason the freshmen class did the experiment with slime was to learn about polymer. Polymer is a molecule that is a long chain made of smaller molecules.

The ingredients for making the slime are shaving cream, water, glue, borax, and eye contact solution. The kids who helped make the slime were each given a small amount to take home.

“Playing catch with it was my favorite part,” Payton Lee, freshman, said.
