Canton Tigers Win Against Geary Bison in Okeene Tournament

On January 19, the Canton Tigers played their second game against the Geary Bison.

The Tigers played as home and the Bison as visitors.

In the beginning quarter, the Tigers were able to get the jump. The Tigers were then able to score a few points. On defense, the Tigers played hard not letting the Bison shoot.

During the second quarter, the Tigers started off in defense and were unable to stop the Bison from scoring. On offense, however, the Tigers would penetrate the Bisons’ defense and score.

After halftime, the Tigers started on offense and were able to score a few points. On defense, the Tigers were able to stop the Bison from scoring, but the Bison were able to slip through the Tigers’ defense a few times.

In the ending quarter, the Tigers were able to rack up some points, but the Bison were also able to rack up their own points. On defense, the Tigers gave it their all trying to not let the score. Garrett Nippert was able to get the final two points if the game.

The final score of the game was Canton Tigers 57 and Geary Bison 49.
