Canton Tigers beat Dover Longhorns by 18 Points

On January 23, the Canton Tigers High School boys team played against the Dover Longhorns. The Tigers were looking forward to winning against the Longhorns.

At the beginning of the game, the Tigers were unable to start with the ball, losing the jump. However, the Tigers played great defense against the Longhorns and were able to get the ball from the Longhorns. On offense, the Tigers were able to get the first points of the game.

In the second quarter, the Tigers started with the ball. However, the Longhorns were able to steal passes and make layups, but the Tigers were able to catch up.

At the beginning of the second half the Tigers started off in defense and the Tigers were able to get good passes and score with Garrett Nippert, Deonte Murray, and Weston Waldrep.

In the final quarter, the Tigers were up in the lead. The Longhorns player #24 got a technical foul trying to block Clayson Scott’s layup but was unable to get down the court fast enough, slapping the backboard. Weston Waldrep also fouled out playing solid defense against the Longhorns.
