A Bee C’s Featured In Elementary

“Welcome to the hive.”

This year the elementary has taken their decorating to a whole new level. A “bee theme” has been featured all over the school from hand drawn pictures to tissue paper crafts, the elementary has it all.

“I like the bee decorations,” said 5th grader, Nadia Luna, “there are bees everywhere and also the word bee so it just makes sense.”

The kindergartners made posters. The posters include their name, something they like, a self portrait, and a family picture. All the pictures were drawn and colored by the kids.

The second grade’s portion of the hall was a different craft. The kids outlined a picture of a bee and colored the head. They used tissue paper to make the yellow and black body.

The 3rd and 4th grade did similar crafts. The 3rd grade spiced up their part of the hall with pictures telling what they want to be when they grow up and why. The 4th grade made pictures that told how they could ‘bee’ kind. Each child listed out two things they could do to be kind.

The elementary’s hard work paid off. They proved they truly are, “the bee’s knees.”
