10th Annual Orange Peel a Huge Success

The competition was between the 7th, 8th, and 9th, and the 10th, 11th, and 12 classes. For first place in each competition the class wins 5 points, second place wins 3 points, and third place wins 1 point. The points from Orange Peel will be added to the class points for the whole year. . Whoever has the highest amount of points at the end of year will get $250 from Student Council towards a class trip.
Chalk art was the first activity and started right after school and ended at 6. In the junior high division 9th grade won first, 7th won second, and 8th won third. In the senior high division 11th grade won first, 12th won second, and 10th grade won third.
The first game was the line race/hula hoop race. In the junior high division 8th grade won first, 9th grade won second, and 7th won third. In the senior high division 12th grade won first, 11th grade won second, and 10th won third. The line race involved everyone in the class, and continued until the classes hit the 50 yard line, then they had to join hands and pass a hula hoop down without breaking the chain.
The second game was the dog sled race. In the junior high division 8th grade won first, 9th grade won second, and 7th grade won third. In the senior high division 12th grade won first, 10th grade won second, 11th grade won third. The 10th grade and 11th grade race was very close but the 10th grade passed the 50 yard line first.
The third game was the 4x2x6 race. In the junior high division 9th grade won first, 7th grade won second, and 8th won third. In the senior high division 12th grade won first, 11th grade won second, and 10th grade won third.
The fourth game was the water balloon cornhole race. In the junior high division 7th grade won first, 8th grade won second, and 9th grade won third. In the senior high division 10th grade won first with 11 catches, 11th grade won second with 10 catches, and 12th grade won third with 3 catches.
The fifth game was the hippity hop race. In the junior high division 7th grade won first, 9th grade won second, and 8th grade was third. In the senior high division, 10th grade won first, 11th grade won second, and 12th grade won third.
The final game was the mystery race/flip cup. In the junior high division 7th grade won first, 8th grade won second, and 9th grade won third. In the senior high division 11th grade won first, 12th grade won second, and 10th won third.
To date the overall class points in the junior high division are 7th grade with 26 points, 8th grade with 21 points, and 9th grade with 23 points. The class points in the senior high division are 10th grade with 22 points, 11th grade with 25 points, and 12th grade with 23 points.
