Millenial Cartoons

Millenial+Cartoons

There are many differences in cartoons now than there were a decade ago, one being the graphics, and another being that cartoons used to have a story. Now they tend to be more animations running around and less going along with an actual storyline. Even the remakes of older cartoons don’t live up to their expectations. There are some newer cartoons that aren’t bad, but those are rare. Cartoons of the were almost all pure gold.

Here are a few of the millennial cartoons that are missed by the students of Canton High School:

The Powerpuff Girls was a show about three girls who were accidentally created in a lab and now have superpowers that they use for good.

“I liked the Powerpuff Girls because when I was younger I was a girly girl and the powerpuff girls could fight crime and save everybody,” Jenny Delgado, senior, said.

Looney Tunes is a classic that held many stories like Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner, and Tweety the bird and Sylvester the cat.

“Looney Tunes is better than most because it has a lot of action, but the original is better than the remake,” Marci Rhodes, freshman, said.

Tom and Jerry is a story about a mouse who chased the cat. They were always creating havoc and terrorizing the housekeeper.

“Tom and Jerry is a little unrealistic, but that is what makes it funny,” Cade Humbargar, junior, said.
