Rosie the Riveter is a simple costume for girls. All that is needed to make this costume is a long sleeved blue-jean shirt, a red bandana, red lipstick, and some bobby pins. The long sleeved shirt needs to be rolled up to the elbows. Bobby pins will be needed to create the iconic pin curl look. To create the pin curl take a section of hair and roll it around two fingers until it reaches your scalp. Then pin it into place. To complete the hairstyle take a red bandana and tie it around the head as a headband. Finish the look off with red lipstick.

Netflix and chill is a look for guys on a budget. To put this look together a red T-shirt, a printer, glue, and a bag of ice, is all that is needed. The first step is to print out the Netflix logo and attach it to your red shirt with glue, or any other adhesive. Next go to your local convenience store and purchase a bag of ice to carry around. Another option is to take a fabric marker and draw your own Netflix logo.

The scarecrow is a look that can be pulled off by both guys and gals. The scarecrow requires an old pair of jeans, an old flannel shirt, a straw hat, and face paints. Straw, fabric scraps, and fabric glue are optional. If you prefer to have patches on your jeans, you will need to take the pair of jeans you plan to wear and tear several holes in them. When you are satisfied with the rips, turn the jeans inside out and line up your fabric scraps. Then take the fabric glue and attach the patches to the jeans. Next put on your flannel shirt, jeans, and straw hat. The face paints can be used to create whatever scarecrow look you prefer. If you choose to use straw, take a handful and use the leftover fabric glue to attach it to the inside of both your sleeves and pant legs so that it sticks out.

Mickey and Minnie Mouse costumes can be worn individually, but can also be used as a couple’s costume. Supplies needed for creating Mickey are a pair of red shorts, black and white felt, fabric glue, and a headband. To create Mickey’s pants, cut out several circles from the white felt and attach them to the red shorts with fabric glue to make polka dots. Next cut out mouse ears from the black felt and attach them to the headband. Put the costume on over fitting black clothes. Face paint to create mouse whiskers and a nose are optional. Minnie’s costume can be made the same way except exchange the red shorts for a red dress or skirt. To create Minnie’s ears, glue a bow in the middle of the headband and then attach the ears.

Another simple look for girls is Tinkerbell. Supplies needed to create your tinkerbell costume are a green dress, cotton balls, glue, and a fairy. To make the dress you will need scissors to cut out a triangular pattern across the hem. Next take your cotton balls and and glue a few together so that they make a small white ball. Your will need two of these to glue to your preferred shoes. To get your wings, kill a fairy.

One of the best last minute costume ideas is the lumberjack. To make this simple costume all that is needed is a flannel shirt, jeans, boots, a manly hat, face paint, styrofoam, glue, a large stick, and grey paint. First put on the flannel, jeans, boots, and the most manly hat you can find. Then take the facepaint and find a color similar to your hair. Next take your fingers or a small brush and paint on a beard. (If you are already a manly man and have a beard this step is unnecessary.) To make your ax, take a piece of styrofoam and paint it grey. Next cut it into a triangular shape like that of an ax blade. Next glue the ‘“blade” to the large stick.

The first way is to sketch out his face and draw it onto the shirt with a fabric marker. The second is to take black felt and cut out his eyes, mouth, and nose. Next take fabric glue and glue on the felt pieces.

Pikachu is a more detailed costume for girls. To make the costume, you will need a yellow shirt, black leggings, elastic, tulle, a needle and thread, and facepaint. To make the skirt take the tulle and cut into several long strips. Take a long piece of elastic and begin attaching the tulle. To attach the tulle, take a strip and fold it in half. Then take the fold and place it behind the elastic so that you can loop the ends through. When you have the desired amount of tulle, measure the elastic around your waist and mark it. Then take your needle and thread and attach the ends together. Put on your yellow shirt, black leggings, and skirt. The last step is to paint whiskers, a black nose, and rosy cheeks on your face using face paint.
