Thursday, August 22, in the Canton elementary gym, the elementary students participated in NED. NED stands for never give up, encourage others, and do your best. 

Andrew Fish Booth, who performs the NED show from Los Angeles, talked about how students should never give up, even when it is hard not to. He also had a yo-yo and he did tricks with it. He “walked the dog”, “climbed the Eiffel Tower”, and much more. 

Ned is Booth’s “friend”. He talked about how his day went. He used his yo-yo to tell Ned’s story. 

“He showed me how to do cool tricks with the yo-yo,” Auslyn Brown, kindergarten, said.
