Mrs. Haubs Class Gets Chopping
On September 5, 2019, Chef Charles McNabb came to Canton High School to show Mrs. Haub’s classes proper knife skills. He talked about possible careers for students looking to go into culinary classes. Chef Charles also taught students how to hold a knife correctly, how to cut food safely, and the dangers of misusing a knife.
“He was really informative, and it was really fun when he let us have the chance to follow his instructions.” Isaac Tsatigh, sophomore, said.
After Chef Charles demonstrated how to use and hold a knife correctly, the students got plastic knives and playdough to practice their knife skills safely.
“I was very excited to have Chef Charles speak to my students.” Mrs. Huab, FACS teacher, said.
