December 9th through 14th, Canton hosts the annual Gayle Hajny Invitational tournament. The teams that will be playing this year are Canton, Calumet, Cimarron, Fairview, Lomega, Okeene, Arnett, and Hydro. 

The games will start on Monday at 4:00 p.m. The first team that will play will be Cimarron and Lomega, and the championship game will be played Saturday at 8:00 and consolation will be played at 2:00.

History Day students will provide concessions all week. There will also be tailgates each night. Monday Canton Child Study Club is making baked potatoes, broccoli soup, chili cheese fries. Canton FFA will be having a tailgate Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Thursday, there will be Chili and beans with cornbread. Friday and Saturday, they will be cooking pulled pork, chicken strips, and cheese fries.
