The Canton school online newspaper will be used for students and members of the community to stay informed and up to date regarding school activities. Mr.Barney, the media adviser,  said, “We needed fun and academic electives. Plus we wanted to keep everyone informed about what’s going on here. It is something different and fun.’’

The paper, produced by Canton High School journalism students, will contain school news, personality features, editorials, and other fun content.  Journalism students will not only write the paper’s content but will also take all of the pictures.

The newspaper allows students to be informed about upcoming events. ‘’I’m excited about the newspaper because I get to hear what’s going on around the school,” said freshman Brooks Martin

The school has not had a newspaper since 2004.
