FFA Annual Greenhouse Sale
Starting April 20, the FFA students will be selling flowers and plants from 1-6 pm. The plants are being kept in the greenhouse, and all the students helped plant them. The prices range from $1-$20.
They have a variety of flowers and even vegetables. The plant sale will have; Begonia, Calibrachoa, Dahlia, Dianthus, Geranium, Portulaca, Lipoma, Wandering Jew, Pennisetum, lantana, Lysimachia, Vinca, Strawberries, Marigold, Coleus, Petunia, Red Bell Pepper, Green Bell Pepper, Jalapeno Pepper, Roma Tomato, Big Steak Tomatoes, Cherry Tomato, Zucchini Squash, Yellow Squash, Cilantro, Basil, and Black Eye Pea.
“I think it is a different way to get more kids involved in FFA that aren’t necessarily into the showing or the public speaking, and it’s an extra way for the kids to help earn some money without selling Blue and Gold,” Shania Wood, co ag teacher, said.
