Last year the Class of 2021 donated large amounts of water and Gatorade to the Canton fire department.

The freshman class has chosen to collect water and Gatorade for the Canton, Eagle City, and  Longdale firefighters. They are also donating to the Canton EMS. This is the freshman class service project. The deadline for the water and Gatorade is August 31st. The firefighters have requested the smaller bottles of water and Gatorade, because it is easier for them to hold the bottles while they fight the fire. The firefighters in all departments are volunteers.

This is the second year for the class of 2021 to do this donation for the fire department. Last year the class took a bus to the fire station to deliver Gatorade

“There’s perhaps nothing more important to a firefighter than water, both to quench the flames of the fire and to quench their thirst while fighting and keep them hydrated. We greatly appreciate any and all donations of bottled water, as it truly is a must while battling the flames.”

and water. They also won the contest that was on Facebook and got a thousand dollars for the class and a thousand dollars to the fire department.
