This year the high school building has gained 33 seventh graders, and their opinions on this building are very interesting. Many kids are scared to come over to the high school, but let me tell you, we were more scared of them than they were of us.

Many of the seventh graders have transitioned well and are already comfortable with this building, but some are worried about how many classrooms and how much walking we do over here.

“There is a lot more walking to each class and it is a bit bigger,” Brooklyn Green, seventh-grader, said.

One thing good I can say about these seventh graders is that they have high expectations for themselves.

“I want to be a high honor roll student.” Preston Foster, seventh-grader, said.

These students have already formed their own opinions about their teachers, even though we have only been in school for three weeks. They know which classes they have a lot of homework and even which classes to eat in.

“Ms.Ks is probably my favorite teacher because I get to eat food,” Allie Smith, seventh-grader, said.

These students are ready for this building and all that comes with it.
