The Blaine county fair was held last weekend on August 25th-26th on Watonga fairgrounds. FFA students of Canton High school were released on Friday to go set up for the livestock show with the help of their teacher, Mr. Mitchell. The 4-H and FFA members showed a variety of animals at the fair including sheep, pigs, goats and cattle.

Other events included quilting, arts, and baked goods. Many people of the county attended the fair to enjoy the watching the students show their animals which included sheep, goats, pigs, and cattle.

“Going to the Blaine county fair is a good life experience for the students. It teaches them how to take proper care of the animals.” said the Ag. teacher, Mr. Mitchell.
