Tigers Fall To The Chiefs

On Friday, September 28, the Tigers played their sixth game of the season. They played their game against Waukomis at home. Canton received the ball to start off the game.

Canton tried to score on their first drive, but they were unsuccessful. During one of Waukomis’s drives they managed to put the ball in the endzone. The Tigers fought the whole first quarter, but were unsuccessful in scoring a touchdown.

During the second quarter the Tigers were still unable to make a touchdown. Waukomis managed to score two more times during the quarter. Nearing the end of the second quarter the Tigers pushed the ball into the endzone. The score at the end of the half was the Tigers 6 and Waukomis 18.

Both teams fought to make a touchdown in the third quarter, but neither were successful until the end of the quarter when canton made a touchdown.

During the beginning of the fourth quarter the Tigers managed to score a touchdown to tie up the game. Halfway through the quarter Waukomis made a touchdown and gained the lead. Canton was unable to score another touchdown in the quarter. The score at the end of the game was Canton 18 and Waukomis 24.

After the game both teams prayed in the middle of the field.
