Down the Anime Rabbit Hole

Down+the+Anime+Rabbit+Hole

My trip down the rabbit hole to binge-watch anime, Japanese cartoons, first started a week and a half ago. It all started with an anime called Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. That anime starts with a boy named Tanjiro Kamado. Tanjiro’s family is brutally murdered by demons, and the only survivor of the attack is his younger sister Nezuko. Nezuko is turned into a demon and Tanjiro promises her to find a way to turn her back into a human. I am currently waiting for season 2.

The next anime I started watching was My Hero Academia. The anime was introduced to me by my friends. In this particular anime, the world is filled with people born with powers called quirks. The superhuman world is split into heros, villains, and civilians. Izuku Midoriya, a quirkless boy who dreams to become a hero, meets his favorite hero, All Might. All Might gives Izuku his own quirk and makes him a hero in training.

The last and current anime I am watching is Assasination Classroom. I am sooo close to finishing this amazingly comical anime. In this anime, a boy named Nagisa is sent to E class. E class is the lowest classroom for kids who fail at school. E class is soon turned into an assasination classroom because an unkillable monster becomes their teacher. The students are told to learn how to kill the monster because in March he is going to blow up and destroy the world.

I also plan to watch Soul Eater, Blood Lad, and Highschool Of The Dead. Anime is really cool. It comes in many genres, many themes, many amazing characters. Also, not everyone who watches anime is a creepy, mouth breathing weirdo who lives in their mom’s basement while making out with a body pillow of their favorite anime character.
