Tigers Lose To Covington-Douglas

On December 14, the Canton Tigers traveled to Covington-Douglas to play their tenth game of the season. At the beginning of the game, the Tigers started with the ball after winning the jump. On offense, the Tigers ran their offensive play against the Wildcats. The Tigers scored the first points of the game. On defense, the Tigers stopped the Wildcats from driving and shooting.

In the second quarter, the Tigers started on defense. The Tigers held off the Wildcats, but after a few passes, the Wildcats drove into the Tigers’ defense and scored. On offense, the Tigers ran their play, scoring from a back cut.

After half-time, the Tigers started on offense. The Tigers passed the ball, looking for an open back cut, however the Wildcats stole the ball making a fast-break. On defense, the Tigers stopped the Wildcats from scoring. However, the Wildcats managed to get through the Tigers’ defense and score. Near the end of the quarter, Claysen Scott received a technical foul.

In the final quarter, the Tigers started on defense. The Tigers ran their defense trying to stop the Wildcats from scoring. On offense, the Tigers ran the ball up the court, getting the ball stolen from the Wildcats, who made a fast-break.

The final score of the game was Canton Tigers 41 and Covington-Douglas Wildcats 54.
