Tigers Victorious Over Trojans

For the fifteenth game of the season, the Tigers played the Sharon-Mutual Trojans. At the start of the game, the Tigers started on defense, with the Trojans winning the jump. On defense, the Tigers held off the Trojans, with the Tigers stealing the ball, however, the Tigers missed the fast-break. The Trojans recovered the ball and made a fast-break. On offense, the Tigers moved the ball, getting an open three-pointer. 

In the second quarter, the Tigers started on defense. On defense, the Tigers stopped the Trojans from shooting three-pointers, however, the Tigers were unable to stop the Trojans’ post from scoring. On offense, the Tigers moved the ball, giving them open bumps, jump shots and three-pointers. The score at the end of the first half was the Canton Tigers 28 and the Sharon-Mutual Trojans 22.

After half-time, the Tigers started on defense. On defense, the Tigers tried stopping the Trojans’ post and point-guard. The Trojans tried moving the ball around, but the Tigers managed to steal the ball, with the Tigers getting a fast-break. On offense, the Tigers managed to draw fouls in their favor but were unable to make all of their free-throws.

In the final quarter, the Tigers started on offense. On offense, the Tigers moved the ball, getting an open three-pointer. On defense, the Tigers held off the Trojans, however, the Trojans also managed to draw fouls in their favor. In the final minutes of the game, both teams fought for control of the ball, resulting in fouls and turn-overs for both teams.

The final score of the game was the Canton Tigers 66 and the Sharon-Mutual Trojans 46. The Tigers’ next game will be on January 23rd, in the Buffalo Tournament.
