On January 8, the Canton Tigers played their homecoming game of the season against the Mooreland Bearcats. Deonte Murray and Roxey Linder were the homecoming king and queen. At the beginning of the game, the Tigers started on offense winning the jump. On offense, the Tigers ran their offensive play, scoring the first points of the game. On defense, the Tigers pressured the Bearcats, making them lose the ball.

In the second quarter, the Tigers started on defense. The Tigers pressured the Bearcats and stole the ball for a fast-break. On offense, the Tigers looked for an opening in the Bearcats’ defense before scoring.

After half-time, the Tigers started on offense. The Tigers started off the second half, losing the ball to the Bearcats. On defense, the Tigers were unable to hold off the Bearcats from scoring. Near the end of the quarter, the Tigers started their run, taking the lead in the third quarter.

In the final quarter, the Tigers started on offense. The Tigers ran their offensive play, looking to drive into the Bearcats’ defense and draw a foul. On defense, the Tigers stopped the Bearcats from scoring, but the Tigers’ also ran into foul trouble.
